Saved Through Faith

“It’s by grace you’ve been saved through faith.

It’s when we realize we’re messy and we need someone to come clean up our mess that we see God’s work in our lives. When we put our faith in Him and we believe that Jesus came to clean up our mess, that’s when we’re saved from our sins.” – The Bible App from YouVersion

We do not earn being saved. It is definitely not a reward for being good. We don’t need to fix our messy selves. God sent His Son, Jesus, for us. He died for those who do not have it all worked out, who are a mess, and who know that they have done wrong. Putting our faith in God is all we need to do. That’s it. That’s the most important decision that we will ever make. Jesus takes our messy problems on Himself, so that we can live our lives with cleanliness. For He washes away our sins and messiness. He does this in order for us to do what he has called upon us: To live our lives doing good and following his path. It’s time for us to do the right thing and follow His plan for us.

Verse of the day:

“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions. It is by grace you have been saved.”

What’s Happening –

I have decided to publish 1-2 posts every week! I know that before my last post I hadn’t posted in a while. So, it is my goal to publish 1-2 posts every single week. I really hope that my posts are inspiring. As a young “author”, my passion is to INSPIRE others. And by posting up to twice a week it gives me more of a chance to do so.

If you are new to One Girl One God and like my website, please comment down below. I love to hear from y’all. Also, please feel free to share my blog with others!

xoxo
